Having just Purchased this Lovely White Clematis after seeing so many members great Photos of her id like to train it up My Pyrancantha against the Wooden Fence which is South facing togive the Shrub some Summer interest do u think it would do ok there ? Many Thanx Jacx

I would think it'd do nicely there, she'll have shaded feet and a sunny head :)
You're right about giving the Pyracantha some summer interest.

Hi Louise :) Thanx 4 looking & Helping me decide :) u dont think the Pyrancantha will take all its Nutrients do u ? i will plant it a little forward of it but still i worry !

As you may know, all bar 1 of mine are next to shrubs and as long as you're doing what you're doing re planting about 18" away from the shrub and planting at an angle towards it, it should be fine.

Many of my mature shrubs are now getting clematis to climb over them. As Louise suggested, plant your climber about 18" away from its host and it should be fine
