salvia confirmation.

i was out walking with my GF round a friends gardens(thanks queenie) in sandringham LOL when i came across this strong sweet smelling aroma,...when i finally reached the source of the aroma,it was a bush about 8ft wide & 6ft high covered in white flowers AND as all the plants are named there the nearest name plate said salvia sclarea....so not knowing if this is the right name CAN ANYONE PLEASE CONFIRM IF IT IS OR NOT A SALVIA,its now top of my to buy list... THANKYOU SO MUCH if you can ;) p.

If you buy a Salvia sclarea, you most certainly will not get this....unless you buy from the same supplier lol.
This is Philadelphus 'Belle Etoille'
I suspect that the Salvia sclarea (Common Clary) a biennial has died and they have left the label in.
