I have a white lilie growing next to a hydranger plant. I didnot plant it so where did it come from?

We have lived in the house for 10 years and never planted lilies,also, there are none growing in nearby gardens. It's a mystery.

If it really is a lily, the only explanation is squirrel - if they find, or dig up bulbs, they often shove them in somewhere else for later on! The somewhere else in this case might have been your garden.
