My cucumber plants (2) fruits are withering on the stem.

United Kingdom

Planted in the greenhouse look healthy 4ft.They bore fruit initially (6) but as the plant grew the fledgling fruits withered and died. They are watered regularly,do they need ongoing pollination?,foliage feeding or what?.

They always seem to do this. I cut off the little yellow fruits and let the plant dry out a bit, try to water from below and avoid getting the base of the stem wet. They don't need polination, mine are a female only variety.

How do I say thanks?
