What iis this fern leaved plant called

Grown from a seed from south africa. It has spines between the leaves. Loks a bit like an Acacia. The leaves fan out in the daytime and curl closed at night.

It's some kind of acacia. A friend once sent me some seeds he got out of a water butt in Papua New Guinea and the resulting plants looked just like the ones in your photo. Just grow it on and when it flowers you may be able to identify it more precisely.

If the leaves don't close when you touch them, it might well be a Calliandra.

it looks like one of the mimosa .do the leaves close p when you touch it? if yes it is mimosa pudica.
