tree stump

we have a large tree stump which is proving very difficult to dig out any suggestions for removal. not mechanical

Hi Michellet,
We have been asked this question a number of times. If you look at my photos you will see a tree stump I killed some years ago. If you treat it that way now, by the winter it should be dead to a fair extent and much easier to dig out manually.

I don't know what you mean by not mechanical - if it can't be dug out, then a tree stump grinder is the only other option. I have a blog on tree stump treatments which would be worth your while reading - click on my icon and select the right blog - there's only four and it's not that long and it saves me having to repeat myself!
