Laurel - help
By Hev

Hi. I have a prpoblem with my new laurel hedge. There are 17 young plants in all and are now about 2 feet tall each. They were planted in February and appear on the whole to be growing well. However I have noticed some of the new leaves are going brown and curly and look possibly to have been munched by something but I'm not sure what or who. I have put slug pellets down - any suggestions greatfully recieved. It is only about 5 of the 17 plants which are affected at the moment. they are on a busy main road but before i planted them I mulched in lots of manure and compost for a good base.
