Seeds of Arizona Sun

Canada

I have these plants in my garden (first year), they were already established, did not come from seed. Are they seed dropers? If so, what do the seeds look like? I am eager to catch the seeds and plant.

The seed head will be ball shaped and the individual seeds which will rub of easily when ripe are like little shuttlecocks. Keep them cool and dry over winter and sow in the spring.

they may not come true from seed however. but they will have a similar habit and colouring.
The fanfare seed i collected produced a more standard type flower.

so the ball that I have "deadheading" is what I would store until next year, and plant? Awesome, thanks so much for your answers, I'm still trying to figure out this web page. I see an addiction coming on...lol

the ball will contain many seeds. wait until it is dry and papery and then collect the seeds about the size of a sesame seed with a tuft of 'hairs'. mini shuttlecock is a good example.

How do I say thanks?
