It's a Hellebore, just not sure of the variety. It's not unlike 'Fine Feathered Friend', but the leaves on that are a bit thinner.

If the leaves have an unpleasant smell then it is H. foetidus.

Well thats a relief I thought it looked too leafy compared to mine and was wondering what I was doing wrong lol.

Definitely a hellebore. I get dozens of these in my garden for some reason (could be the birds!!) they get a sort of limey green flower on them and after that, I think they just self-seed!!

This Hellebore really comes into its own in Spring. The lime green flowers are really refreshing. Give it a shady spot and let it seed itself around.

Could it be a Erysimum perennial wallflower? possibly does it have purple flowers - Erysimum 'bowles mauve'?
