Can I grow a vine

In my roof garden I have an internal corner between two high walls facing on a south/east axis with space for a 15 inch sg. pot or planter. Could I grow a vine here? I read somewhere that only wine making grapes grow here, not the type you take to hospital. I can't send a photo as I've upset Bill Gates's magic box somehow. ksmerd

Vine really needs to be in the ground to achieve its full potential, particularly in terms of fruiting. If you want to give it a shot (and I'm not recommending it) you will need a container that is a minimum of 2 feet deep, and preferably more.

How do I say thanks?
