Hi, can anyone help me, I have a mountain ash tree about 10 years old, last autumn it put on an amazing display of berries and colour, this spring the flowers were in abundance but now it's looking awful the flowers have not set berries and the leaves are all dry and taken on autumn shades. Is it dying?

Hi Holly, sounds like a worrying time. How has the ground been around its roots - I know you have had a lot of rain. It might be worth looking at honey fungus and fireblight.... not nice but sorbus is prone to both...I do hope it is soggy feet!

Thankyou for the information joey, I will check my books for both honey fungus and fireblight, I know it's not lack of water due to the summer we have had and it's not sat in water either. Thanks again.

How do I say thanks?
