GOYS have been attempting to keep alive this baby - don't know the name so it's quite general - after the buds appear the flower appeared and was very soft (if that makes sense) and then just wilted any ideas don't know if you can see in photos but there is brown spots all over the leaves

This is black spot, I have it on some of my roses. Pick off the dead leaves and twigs, spray with roseclear, also do this in the winter when the overwintering spores are in the surface of the soil in your pots or ground.

I agree with the Roseclear treatment - you will need a sprayer to mix it in, but the flowers look like this from the rain - cut off the flowering stems to an outward facing bud about 6/8 inches from the flowers down.

Thanks for this guys - when should I prune - I have a few bushes in front garden and they look as if they have finished for the season ?

Tea Roses and Floribunda dead head now, prume Autumn or Spring. Cut back ramblers after flowering.
