Black Pearl Chilli,
Can anyone tell me please if this plant is a perennial ?
I ended up with only one plant from the five seeds in the 'Unwins' Gro-sure packet.
It now has groups of small black peppers, some just beginning to turn red:the plant looks a bit 'woody'.It would be nice to have it again for next year ,(in a cold greenhouse )?

It is perennial but not worth keeping over winter in UK. It would probably survive until Feb and then go mouldy as light levels are too low. Keep it as long as you want and maybe try buying some plants next year for a quicker return. I bought a fruiting chilli in Sainsbury's in July for 50p as it was past it's sell by date! It's still producing.!
