This is a dwarf conifer, Juniperus squamata.

Looks like chamaecyparis pisifera boulevard but I'm no expert.

It is indeed that species and variety Wagger.

Wheeeeeeeeeee - got a conifer right, used one of these years ago to make a bonsai.

just read that they can be easily shaped, but I love it as it is, infact i,m going to get a couple more.

oh my neighbour has this and is shaped so nicely
but then hes a retired landscape gardener
