Got it, you mean Eucalyptus perriniana - just shows there are limitations to the internet - this plant is in my encyclopaedia, but if you mis spell it on the web, it doesn't offer this up! Guess you can't beat a human brain. Anyway, enough of that, the common name is spinning gum tree - slow growth, upright slender crown, eventual height 20 m, but only 10m high x 5m wide after 20 years. Very similar to E. gunnii, but nowhere near as vigorous a grower. Juvenile leaves rounded, adult leaves long and narrow. Needs full sun and moist, well drained soil, in a sheltered situation, out of cold winds for young plants. Mulch during cold spells in winter to stop the roots freezing in the ground (if it gets that cold, which is doesn't any more, mostly)

I'll just add the Eucalyptus are trees not shrubs and grow HUGE in their native environment. In the UK they form slender trees up to 3 m in height

A slight generalization Chasecraft :-)
Eucalyptus moorei nana only gets to about 10ft max and I know someone in Northumberland who has a lovely specimen of it outdoors quite exposed too.
Eucalyptus vernicosa only gets to about 4-5ft max though I only know of it in Edinburgh botanic gardens in the alpine area outside.

Quite possibly, but a photo or a detailed description of the plant would be very useful, since as you say, there is no plant with that name
