what has eaten my pink gooseberries

I netted the bush full of fruit went away for 2 days and they had all gone, not the white ones though. Who or what ate them

Caterpillars can strip the leaves in a couple of days but I cann't think of anything that would take ALL the ripe fruit - except, maybe, little boys!!!!!

I suspect somebody is playing a trick on you...and perhaps a member of the family or a neighbour has them neatly stored away for you...hopefully!
