Shiny Leaves

Any tips to promote shiny leaves on house plants - don't want to buy the horrid stuff they sell in hardweare store

my mother recommended putting baby oil on a dish cloth and rubbing the leaves with the cloth?

Thanks GOYS have just done the fairy liquid test which I also use to remove bugs from outdoor plants - the leaves are still wet so gonna try the oils tommorrow - maybe i will try olive oil as I have that already - Oh I so love this site x x x

Try using a minute drop of washing up liquid in cool water to wipe the leaves. Serendipity
