Hello, thank you everyone for your lovely welcome. I have lived here now for just five years and am just now getting to understand what to grow as we live by the seaside and have sandy soil which dries out very quickly, especially in the fierce winds.
I have a Westie called Harry and he loves to sit by me when I am gardening. My husband does the heavy digging and I plan and plant. Each spring I use at least 200 plants to make a decent display.
We are retired now so do not have to fit it in around our jobs as we did at our other house. I can do it over the day.
