leave them its quite natural you just get more than one growing tip for the price of one.the origional tip hasnt bean damaged has it ?

This is not unusual, but often happens because there's damage to the growing tip higher up, though not always. You could either leave it, or try cutting it off with a sharp knife, trying to get some root attached, and grow it on.
