I have several of the above in my front garden, they are of various colours, The ones which grow near the road I want to leave but the ones near the the house near the path I want to move. Now I read that they dont transplant very well, so if anyone has transplanted them successfully, I would like to hear. Any special treatment? I would like to leave them for now as the berries are just coming out, but thought maybe November?

personally i'd do it in early spring. how big is it? I would certainly prune it back after transplanting. Take as much soil with it as you can so the roots are damaged as little as possible. enrich the planting hole with manure/compost, then water well and firm the soil around the plant.

hopefully it will be ok for you.
