The Plants for a Future Use site makes no mention of pollen toxicity to animals, only that some people are allergic to the leaves. The roots are in fact probably edible.

The Feline Advisory Bureau website has it on their list of toxic plants with an asterisk to denote that it can also cause skin irritation.

Hi Jharrin and welcome, no it isn't a 'true' lily yet there do seem to be concerns that it is toxic to cats.
