Verbascum Arctic Summer

I bought 3 arctic summers in the sping and 2 of them have just wilted and died and the other is looking as if its going to go the same way.
I planted them on a south facing border, The bed was a new herbacious bed this spring and all the other plants are growing very well. Can anyone advise what I may have done wrong and perhaps I can save the last one.

I think you may have provided too rich a soil and over watered - the dry the better see what the others think though? Good luck because I think they are lovely.
