Plant name

I live in Kent. A few years ago I had a yellow spring flowering plant that smelled of bubble gum. I think it is part of the broom family, Can anyone help in naming this plant Thankyou

Only one I can think of in that family that is scented is Cytisus battandieri (Moroccan Broom, pineapple broom). Flowers late spring to summer, pineapple scented blooms, large shrub eventually, but not too long lived, likes a warm, sheltered spot, isn't hardy in the North here, usually. If you're thinking of fruity bubblegum, that might be it!
