Ah Bamboo it is the one next to the broom... we definitely need a better pix of the plant from closer up. Looking at size of pot and size of tree I would expect it to be one unhappy camper.

Is the broom the tall one in the pot then? Dear oh lord, that certainly needs planting out or repotting if that's what it is.

Bamboo I do believe you are being obtuse... look at the tall shrub/tree in the small pot which has a household sweeping broom stood next to it

As to what the poor thing is unless and until we get a better photo I haven't got a clue!

Oh my lord, just realised - when you said next to the broom, I never even noticed the broom you sweep with, I assumed you meant the plant that's called broom, and therefore that one of the ones on display there was a broom!

Sorry! I will take a better picture and ask again. The shrub or bush has thin long leaves and I have seen it grow as hedges in Spain but as I seid I will take a closer picture.

It is hard to say without more detail - I'd hazard a guess that it is a bottle brush or callistemon. I have one that looks a little like this. Does it have red bottlebrush flowers?

I don't think its Callistemon - I think its a plant that has light, airy growth, with lilac flowers which then produce pea like pods, but I can't for the life of me recall the name at present - yet another CRAFT moment

Sorry, need a better picture of the plant you're talking about - Im having trouble recognising anything in the picture apart from a geranium and blue grass - also not sure which one you mean - is it the one in the blue pot which might, possibly, be some kind of acer, though let's face it, from the distance in the photo, it could be almost anything ...
