In Britain we only see these as houseplants (I take it you mean Anthurium) because its too cold here for it to grow outside. They require a fairly moist atmosphere and moist, but not waterlogged, peaty soil. Frost tender, minimum temp. 15C or 59F. Indirect sun in summer, bright light in winter.
