Morning glory late arrival?

I have lots of morning glories around the garden...some growing up the eucalyptus tree, some in pots going up the greenhouse & the fence...but all with buds that don't seem to get any bigger day by day!
This morning & last night it was really very chilly & I'm thinking they aren't going to open before the weather gets too cold for them.
Are they late & will they flower ok do you think? Can I do anything to help them along...I am feeding them.
I would be gutted after watching them grow successfully from seed to this stage & then the frosts set in!!
I seem to have managed to capture a fly in the picture which helps admirably to show you the size of the buds!

I think you should get some flowers if we have reasonable September weather. Grew Ipomoea about 5 years ago on purpose and had wonderful shows but not till this time of year, then subsequent years I am still getting plants from self sown seed which are producing flowers now. So don't give up!
