Who moans at you? think you've got troubles, I've had a PM from someone today suggesting, really in a subtle way, that I shouldn't give advice out because I'm a professional and its offputting for new members. Maybe she's right....

my lil brother and sisters Dad is dyslexic and as much as I cant stand him he is also quite artistic. Is that a common factor with dyslexics?

I do most of my written work on the computer as my handwriting is so scruffy hehe

aah well cant be gorgeous and clever hehehehe

7 Sep, 2009

of course not i cant help being gorgeous lol yes it is common the part of your brain thats good at spelling and writing is also the bit that makes you good at art and you cant do bothe xx

7 Sep, 2009

You've got a point there, Nosey - my son's dyslexic, yet makes a fantastic computer programmer without even trying - ask him to tell you when something happened and he still can't get to grips with yesterday, today or tomorrow. I've met many dyslexic people in my life (its pretty common) and they all have something else instead, some quality that makes them brilliant at something - two very common professions for dyslexic people are architecture and computing, both of which require some degree of creativity and imagination.

very true bamboo anything arty and architecture is awsome art

Bamboo, if this site DIDN'T have professional gardeners like you and other more experienced folk on here it could not succeed.
The information given would NOT be as accurate and knowledgeable as it now is.

So please DO keep commenting and advising and if folks want to add their own thoughts/ opinions to the conversation that can only be a good thing but don't YOU stop :)

surley the site has a common goal that includes everyone for the better of gardening.it wouldnt realy work without any of us

11 Sep, 2009

no one person is totaly right or infact totaly wrong so we ofcourse need everyone and though theres a few ups and downs we are all human so lets shgow it and be more humane. if you dislike something that much just look at something you do like .im sure there are plenty of sites wear you can moan, argue etc but speaking for myself im on here not just for answers or infact to answer.not even just for plants or gardens realy though that is obviously one big reasen.ive met some lovley people on here ,learnt some brilliant things, helped a few people ,made a few more happy and never felt presured to do any more than that.i love it just the way it is .its the majority excuse my spelling that counts and your always going to get the odd person with the proverbial spanner but just dont worry about it.im sure you will just be kicked out and banned if you are no longer wanted so keep it clean and friendly PLEASE
