how to seperate baby cordelines

my nigela cordeline has had 4 babie ahhh i here you say but what to do with them. do i leave them or dig them out and move them and what is the best way to do it. will it need special soil as the soil they are in is awful lol. but free draining.

If they're growing from the base of the parent plant, you can try removing them, but make sure you get some root with each one - a sharp knife might be handy, once you've excavated the soil and can see where the roots are. I think they'll grow in ordinary multi purpose compost.
