something in my cuttings

in the soil nearest the sten of various cuttings there are these tiny little worms about 3mm long see through with a dark insides
any ideas what it is
Im presuming some kind of larvae?

Answers
They sound like the larvae if the fungus gnat (sciarid fly). They feed on decaying vegetation so try to keep your compost tidy with your cuttings in.
Some can attack roots but don't usually cause much damage.

they were on cuttings that I was clearing out today cos they hadnt made it

see through with a dark inside sounds like a sort of magot but that small it must be a very small fly
