Do you think this is Spindle?

We passed this small shrub on a walk today.....such a vivid red with the little fruits....I wonder what it is?

They are seed pods. They will split soon and reveal an orange red fleshy aril with a seed attached.

Dead easy from fresh seed. Sow in ordinary compost and leave exposed to the winter weather and they germinate in Spring.

I thought I would go and see if there were seeds on ours to offer, but they have all fallen now. I do have a few Euonymus alatus which is not quite as spectacular as E. europaeus, but only a few.
If you are going to get seeds of Euonymus, then I suggest that you do not wait for the pods to open, but collect the seeds (berries inside the pods) before and sow as I said straight away.
