Bought as Alcalthaea suffrutescens 'Parkallee' this is patently not! Apart from colour, supposed to be rust-free but is smothered, as you can see. Not a happy bunny!

Oops, sorry Wagger, should have said Lavatera instead of Mallow...;-))) though I'm not sure, as I said, without seeing the leaves properly.

I'll see if I can find a recognisable leaf in the morning. I'm doubtful though. I went past this nursery on saturday, shame I didn't take it back. Still might if I go that way in the next couple of weeks.

Looks like a mallow of some kind, be nice to see the whole plant though, can't see the leaves.
On second thoughts, what I can see of the leaves, and the amount of rust, says it is hollyhock, just not the variety you thought you'd bought, don't know which variety it is though.
