Last Year Onions
By Newgardener

I have table onions that came up from last year and they are big but not like a bigger onion. My question is before the gardern is tilled up if I dig these onions out can I cut them up along with the greens and put these in the freezer to use for cooking?

I am not sure what you mean by table onions. Do you mean green ones like the kind you add to salads etc. If so, chop them up and freeze them. They are fine in egg salad, potato salad or stir fries.

I don't see any reason why not, I just put in onions in the spring and then use them as I need them like green onions. I can't see that it would matter if they are leftover from last year.
