Hello hello,
I took Bilberry cuttings from the wild in about September, put them in a little pot and they were fine and dandy. Now, however, they are steadily going brown. (It started in Nov.)
Is it because it's Winter (or is that wishful thinking)?
If it isn't that, can any be saved??
Thanks a lot,
Alice.

Hope you put them in ericaceous compost though, because they do need that to flourish. If you didn't, you could repot them now so they get a good start in the spring.

HURRAH!!!
I will get them some better soil to celebrate.
Thanks :)

The Bilberry, or vaccinium myrtillus, is deciduous, so the browning is quite normal, Derek.
