is it too late to take geranium cuttings?

I have just dug up some geraniums in the garden to overwinter in the porch...however I noticed that one had a lot of potential cuttings on it...I know August is the ideal time, but is it too late to take some now?

How do you take a geranium cutting?

If this is Pelargoniums, cut off non-flowering shoots, take off the lower leaves so none touch the compost, dip in rooting powder ( not really necessary!) and place round the edge of a pot of compost. They don't take long to root.
