Gloriosa

I'm a little unsure as to how best to treat my Gloriosa now.
It's in a pot in the conservatory & I've stopped watering it.
The leaves are drooping & going yellow. Should I cut it off & lift it? Or would it be better left undisturbed?

It's in a pot as I grew it in the conservatory this year.
So I can leave it in the pot & allow it to dry out naturally then?
That was my preferred plan. I was thinking of lifting it April time next year & replanting.

Meanie yes you can leave in pot and allow to dry out. But don't as Derekf points out let it get frosted.

Hi Meanie You can leave it outside until pretty late in the season. Cool weather and shortening day-length will shock it into dormancy. Keep the tops connected to the tuber until the tops completely shrivel up (the tubers need the nutrition). You can pot it up when it starts turning yellow, and leave it wherever you plan on overwintering it.
The stems and tubers are brittle so take care when digging it up or planting it out.
