What's this plant 3

I think it might be an Australian native

Wow!, Australian natives!!!

Many Australian plant families have diverged enough to be set on their own (though related) plant families. You might need to access a native plant site or forum. I am familiar with many Australian plants and I must say that this looks like one of the many Callistemon species. Several I saw at the National Botanic Gardens in Canberra looked a bit like this.

Thanks Fractal

Could be a Leptospermum, they get very woody and have small leaves, but the flower looks like something else! I will look into it when I have some spare time.

Can we have a close up pic of the flower, please?

I'll try, Longleaf... could be a bit tricky, though, as we don't have any of these plants near our place.

Thanks Andrea :o)

Looks a lot like Grevillea triloba or (white wings). The foliage looks like rosemary.

This is the closest I could find.

I don't think its the same plant, sorry Andrea. But I just found one of the plants quite close to ours so I'll get on with the close up pic.
