Answers
and resist the temptation to over touch it. I managed to keep one for about 8yrs but i kept taking the flowers off so the plant didnt think it was time to give up the ghost. I was amazed that they had thorns too.

Keep it above 16 and in a light position, they can be pruned to keep them bushy but they usually only last a couple of years anyway
