You need to limit any stress to the plants as stressed plants bolt and go to seed. I don't mean your leeks have received a big phone bill coz their daughters have spent 9 hours on the phone and the boss is on their case, I just mean prepare your soil well so they get plenty of nutrition and water during dry periods. Every year a couple of mine bolt, so don't be dissappointed if it's just a couple that do it. That's just life I'm afraid!

NP - behave! LOL

so what are you saying Sid, do you want us to talk quirtly to our plants lol

as it goes on myth busters and its true.they grew the same plants in the same conditions etc and in green houses the same.one they used as a control ie no noise.the others they looped nice talk, another friendly nice music and the others heavy metal and another just talking angry.believe it or not and they were blown away as i was.the heavy metal ones did the best followed bye the abuse honest.i guess if you have an altercation or said large phone bill you should actualy go and take it out on your plants as this seams to be the case.anyway nothing wrong with having a laugh surly lol.we are gardeners not the pope . i wonder what happens when he hits his thumb with a hammer lol.
