A good time to prune and tidy this shrub is after its finished flowering, which for me means June, but I don't know when yours flowers - they vary according to the area they're grown in. Technically it doesn't need pruning, so only do it if its got untidy or isn't a good shape. If it's growing in a pot, feed during the summer with something like Miracle Gro once a month, or apply Growmore to the compost in early April, and again six weeks later.

How do I say thanks?
