when would be the best time to plant the convolvulus cneorum

On plant Convolvulus

Looking at where you are in the country, I would suggest waiting until spring. This shrub hates the wet and cold - it thrives in the sun. It is not reliably hardy in frost-prone areas, either. If you have it in a pot, make sure you place it in a sheltered position against the house wall or in a cold frame, and bubble-wrap the pot to protect the roots from freezing.

It seems to be one of those plants that thrives if you are lucky enough to put it in just the right spot, but try it next door in a similar spot and it fails...especially on clay...booo!

I had another one, and it just didn't thrive at all! I moved it, still no joy. It died. Say no more! :-(((((
