Its the 2nd time that plants of 1rhodendron & 1 dahela i potted in a newly soiled container thrived very well 4 two months,given 1 flower,then started to shrink,dry&die

I think Rhododendrons like rain water...I know Dahlias need lots of water all through their growing season and feed, especially if growing in pots...:>)

Perhaps you have not watered them enough..
