I have 12 cordylines growing in my backyard and are all
around 6-8 foot tall and very healthy
They currently have all flowered with big stalks with very small white flowers on them.
When it has finished flowering it leaves these green balls on the stalks are they the seeds that is the question? and do you have to dry the green seed things before they are planted as seedlings.
I think i have answered my own question!! inside the green balls are little black seeds so yes the green balls are seeds i have thousands of them and will give it a try growing them
On plant

Cordylines grow surprisingly well from seed and this is the best way to propagate C. australis. Seeds should be sown in the spring and are best started off in a propagator and then moved into a warm, sunny spot once the weather really warms up. In their first winter they are best moved into a greenhouse or conservatory for some protection while they are still young,,,, hope this helps i found it on internet
