Hello I have been looking at a plant website well known ( dont know if I can say the name on here ) and thought of buying a collection of 3 Buddleja "Buzz" and a Lavatera BarnselyBaby they say they are Jumbo Plugs so will they grow and flower this year what size is a jumbo plug ! I usually just go to a garden centre for plants but thought I would try online ordering any thoughts ?

Might be better to grow them on in 8" pots for a year before planting outside.

You have bought what are known as 'Liners', small rooted cuttings which are sold to nurseries by specialist growers and grown-on to be sold to the retail market. Take Diane's advice and pot-on for a year and plant out when fully rooted. Unless you are going to buy many plants of the same variety, you will be better-off buying mature plants from a good garden centre.

Moongrower, you beat me to it! I have vowed never to buy seeds or plants off T&M ever again.

the jumbo plugs are about 2" wide if you are lucky. You may get the Jazz to flower if you are lucky. Personally I havent had much success with them and probably not worth the money. but that is my opinion and others may have had better luck.
