this partial albino blackbird has been coming to my garden for the last 3 years she must like the pears.

I`ve only ever seen one in what used to be my dads garden and it stayed for a long time and got quite tame, there were lots of apples about so the birds were in their element.........

He (I think, not she with that colouring) is doing very well at 3 years. Most song-birds only survive long enough to bring up the young in the second year. I have several usually (but not albino) that love to hang around the outdoor grapes in autumn and before that I have to fend them off the cherries but grapes they are welcome to, I always leave a few bunches on for them into the winter. Look after him.

Sarraceniac
definately a femail, dark brown with a dark bill. Saw her last summer with her mate feeding the young, they nested in next doors garden.

Sorry. On my screen she looks black (although the beak isn't yellow). Cute either way.

nice pics Fredtheted, glad that she is with a mate, as often albinos are shunned in the wild.

There is one similar to this in the grounds of where I work.
They love apples too.
