I Want to plant two bushes by a Head Stone but to grow to big to about three ft sort of compact What do you suggest for me?

Are roses too obvious? If you got repeat flowering varieties, they flower from June to November.

Rosemary is nice too - remember the quotation from Shakespeare "Rosemary for remembrance"? It likes an open soil and not too cold a winter so it does depend where you are.

How about a Daphne they are slow growing and the perfume is divine.
I will keep thinking see what everyone else thinks.
