Look at the weather forcast for the next five days, Kidsgran. If it is forcast to stay above freezing over this period then I would suggest giving the pots a small amount of water. Make sure that the compost is fully thawed first, though. We have had similar freezing cold nights ovet the last couple of weeks but the weather has now turned slightly milder. I intend to water all our pots in the frames and greenhouses tomorrow.

I watered all mine tonight. even though they have been frozen they are very dry.

That's surprising Kidsgran. We are only an hour west of you and our pots haven't been frozen at all!

My pots are not frozen either, and the soil in the ground is nice and soft. It has felt rather mild here today.

Well it's 5 c today outside with a cold north north east wind if it warm,s up a little more I may water them a little . Just took my youngest grandson to school dressed for St David's day all the little girls were very pretty in their welsh costumes and hats :-)

I have just finished watering our pots that are under glass. I had to use the hose as the rain butt is still frozen!

Well our boys love a visit to Murrayfield win or lose lol ( it,s only a game but all my family are big rugby fan,s ) it,still very cold so I think I will wrap up and walk though our local park on my way to town have to say the cold has not deterred OH from his Friday game of golf !
