I have just bought some Egyptian pea beans and Lupini beans. I have never seen these before has anybody grown these before.

I have just bought some Egyptian pea beans and Lupini beans. I have never seen these before has anybody grown these before.
Hi Steve, never grown them, [never even heard of lupini beans], but the Egyptian, or Indian beans are from tropical Africa, botanical name Lab lab purpureus are a herbaceous perennial climber, and need a min temp of 45 deg f, and can grow 6 to 20 ft.
As you already have the seed, you need to sow them at 66 to 74 deg f in spring, and grow them under glass, use j i no 2 in full light, when they're in growth water freely and feed them with a balanced fertilizer every 10 to 14 days until they're flowering, water sparingly in winter.
