Can any one help with my pear tree, has tried to produce leafs for two seasons, leaves grow for a week or so then die off, have moved plant over winter, now has spots as per photo ?.

I'd agree with bamboo, try and cut out etc.

Looks like Coral Spot - if you are able to, remove all and any wood showing signs of this infection, right back to healthy wood. If it's all the way down to the bottom of the trunk on the tree, the prognosis is not good, I'm afraid - I'd remove it if that's the case.
