Hi anyone experience aucuba japonica leaves going yellow? It's like all the green is being zapped from the leaves.planted last winter from a pot I got in a garden centre.soil is clayish alkaline .thanks

is it in full sun? this can aid the lack of green. It needs a dose of epsom salts too, that has the trace elements it needs to make the green pigment chlorophyll.

My guess is that the wet winter flushed out nutrients and that you should feed it now - a slow release fertiliser and bone meal.
