the ground will be very dry so few things will survive. what were you think of or are you after suggestions?
spring bulbs will be ok, snowdrops, anemone blanda. violets primroses as long as they are not too far underneath. I have vinca minor variegata [small leaved periwinkle] that does quite well under shrubs. there is a white and blue flowered form.
